News on the teaser sequence character - Van Beert

South African Mark Dymond will be making his biggest ever on screen appearance in "Die Another Day", even though he only lasts the teaser sequence.

Van Beert is a South African diamond smuggler who comes to Korea by Russian helicopter to make a deal with Colonel Moon. Meanwhile, Bond is surfing in to the coast and intercepts Van Beert before he reaches his rendezvous with Moon. Bond eliminates Van Beert, takes his identity, and goes to meet Moon.

He has previously had small roles in "Revelation" (2001) and "The House of Mirth" (2001).
