1:18th scale James Bond cars from RC2 delayed until later this year

07-Jun-2005 • Collecting

The next batch of 1:18th scale James Bond cars from Joyride/RC2 have been slightly delayed.

An RC2 spokesperson told MI6, "Unfortunately the Mustang Mach 1 and the Chevrolet Corvette have been delayed and we won't be expecting these to be available now until August for the Mach 1 and September for the Corvette".

RC2 have released three cars so far in 2005: the Aston Martin DB5, Jaguar XKR, and Aston Martin Vanquish.

Also up for release later this year is the Lotus Espirit from "The Spy Who Loved Me" with opening hood with engine details, opening doors with detailed interior, retractable wheels to convert the street car to a submarine and retractable window shields.

Thanks to `JP` for the alert.
