James Bond Sideshow Collectibles news from Comic-Con
Sideshow Collectibles have displayed the highly anticipated prototype Roger Moore as James Bond in "Moonraker" figure at Comic-Con in San Diego this week.
MI6 exclusively unveiled the new Roger Moore figure way back in February, but this was the first time the public got to see it up close and personal.
This is the third Moore figure to be produced by Sideshow, and the "Moonraker" edition will feature a new sculpt by Oluf Hartvigson. It is due out in Q3 2005 - so order yours now to avoid disappointment!
As announced back in February, Bond will come complete with a laser pistol modeled on the screen version, a fully detailed Moonraker flight suit and astronaut boots, and Q's wrist dart gun that 007 uses to kill Drax in the film's climax. A special Sideshow Collectibles Exclusive Version, limited to only 500 pieces ordered through the
Sideshow website, will also include the x-ray machine disguised as a cigarette case that Bond used in Drax's house.
News of new figures, in both the Premium Format ¼ scale and 12" figure ranges, is due to be announced in the coming months.
