Former henchman Irvin Allen denies murdering his wife

05-Aug-2005 • Bond News

Irvin Allen, an actor who appeared on screen as a James Bond villain, has denied murdering his wife during a brief hearing at London's Old Bailey Court overnight.

The 71-year-old, from Ladbroke Grove, west London, is due to stand trial on February 6 next year.

Allen was cast as Che Che in the 1969 James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", and later as a Stromberg crew member in Roger Moore's 1977 outing "The Spy Who Loved Me".

He was arrested in April after the body of 49-year-old Chamlong Allen was discovered in a lock-up close to their home.
