Casino Royale location scouting in the Caribbean, filming expected in Bermuda
MI6 exclusively
reported yesterday that a major location for production of Casino Royale - the 21st James Bond film - would be heading to an island of the east coast of the USA.
Today MI6 can reveal more information on the precise location. Scouting is taking place on various islands in the Caribbean by director Martin Campbell - now working on the film full time after completing work on "Legend Of Zorro".
A major filming location is expected to be based in Bermuda.

The Bahamas has been a popular place for 007, first with Ian Fleming's novels, and then with the filming of "Thunderball", "The Spy Who Loved Me", "For Your Eyes Only" and "Licence To Kill". Nearby Cuba has been used as a location in two Pierce Brosnan films, "GoldenEye" and "Die Anoher Day".
Pre-production is still on schedule despite the shift from the planned location of South Africa and the lack of an official announcement on the casting of 007.
