Pierce Brosnan`s `The Matador` pushed back to December 23rd release

The release of Pierce Brosnan's latest film, The Matador, has been pushed back to December 23rd 2005.

The film was originally scheduled to open on October 12th 2005 in New York and L.A.

Written and directed by Richard Shepard, the film stars (former James Bond 007) Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear. The supporting cast includes Hope Davis, Philip Baker Hall, Dylan Baker, Roberto Sosa, and Adam Scott.

The Matador centers on an unlikely friendship between an assassin (Brosnan) and a gullible suburban couple (Kinnear and Davis).
