Ian Fleming Publications name Steel Dagger finalists

The IFP have named the shortlist for the annual Ian Fleming "Steel Dagger" prize.

After a "heated" meeting which took place at Soho House on 29 September 2005, the judges arrived at the shortlist as follows, in alphabetical order:

GM Ford - A Blind Eye

Simon Kernick - A Good Day to Die

Adrian Matthews - The Apothecary's House

Kate Mosse - Labyrinth

Henry Porter - Brandenburg

Joel Ross - Double Cross Blind

Daniel Silva - A Death in Vienna

The winner will be announced at the awards lunch in London on 8 November.
