Olivia Lee screentested with potential James Bond 007`s in September

Director Martin Campbell revealed last week that the choice of the next James Bond was down to 8 to 10 actors, and the producers and Sony were in the process of making a final decision.

That decision is based on screentests performed in September at Pinewood Studios on specially built sets.

The candidates had to perform the standard 007 screentest - the love scene with Tatiana in James Bond's hotel room from the 1963 movie "From Russia With Love".

Playing opposite the potential 00's was British actress Olivia Lee.

Best known for her TV presenting on T4's "The Morning After Show" (UK), she has also performed in varous independant films, TV shows and commercials. Her recent film work includes Action Star with Vinnie Jones and The Mechanik with Dolph Lundgren, both due for release this year.



In the past, actresses who have screentested future Bond's have also had success in being cast for a movie themselves, so Olivia Lee may be a name to watch out for as "Casino Royale" casting decisions are made.
