Composer David Arnold removed from Casino Royale IMDB listing

12-Oct-2005 • Casino Royale

Composer David Arnold, who has scored the last three James Bond films, has had his name removed from the IMDB listing for "Casino Royale".

Does this mean the composer is no longer working on the 21st Bond film?

Back in April 2004, Arnold confirmed he had started early work on the film.

Speaking about his approach, Arnold said, "It's going in a very, very interesting direction. I think with the movies to date, I think we've taken it to a point where I've exhausted that particular scene of approach. What I'm already thinking of now is, you're at the bottom of the mountain again, and you have to get back up to the top via a different route. "

"I wouldn't discount anything. But I think there is a way of doing Bond differently again, as there always is. That's why we're making the 21st one, because there's always a way of including the familiar and the safe and expected with, hopefully, something unexpected and different. I'm looking forward to it, but I always look forward to it!"

Thanks to `JP` for the alert.
