Madonna`s Bond theme sinks dramatically in the UK Top 40

Madonna`s Bond theme for "Die Another Day" stormed into the UK Top 40 charts at No. 3 largely due to her fan base and Bond fans alike snapping it up in the first week of release.

As with most new entries in the chart, the position of the single has slipped in the second week. But with lots of new entries from strong pop artists this week, and earlier over playing of the song, the slide of the Madonna`s track is more dramatic than usual.

"Die Another Day" has slumped out of the top ten to No.12 in the UK Top 40 chart, and is predicted to have disappeared completely by next week.
