`Chitty Chitty Bang Bang` to appear on Macy`s Thanksgiving parade

Erin Dilly, Rick Hilsabeck, Kurt Von Schmittou, Dirk Lumbard and cast of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG will perform "Toot Sweets" on the Macy's 79th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade national broadcast on NBC on Thursday, November 24, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. They will perform live in the 9 a.m. hour.

Last year at the 78th annual parade cast members rode the entire parade route in the magical flying car as they sang the show's title song, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" - reports BroadwayWorld.

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG has music & lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. The original film, which was adapted for the screen by Roald Dahl from the novel by Ian Fleming, has been adapted for the stage by Jeremy Sams. CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG is directed by Adrian Noble, with musical staging by Gillian Lynne.

The musical that has "FUN written all over it" (Wall Street Journal), features sets and costumes by Tony nominee Anthony Ward, lighting by Tony nominee Mark Henderson and sound design by Andrew Bruce. The orchestrations and dance arrangements are by Chris Walker and musical direction and supervision are by Robert Scott.

"The yummy, delightful" (New York Magazine), CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG is produced on Broadway by Dana Broccoli, Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson, Frederick Zollo, Nicholas Paleologos, Jeffrey Sine, Harvey Weinstein, East of Doheny Theatricals and Michael Rose Limited.

Tickets for CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG are available through Ticketmaster.com, (212) 307-4100 or (800) 755-4000. Ticket prices are scaled at $100-$20. The Family Friendly performance schedule is Wednesday through Saturday at 7pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 1pm & 6pm.
