Samantha Bond prepares for next theatre production

26-Nov-2005 • Actor News

Samantha Bond was last seen at Hampstead Theatre in Dinner With Friends and recently starred in the film "Yes" by Sally Potter.

She became a household name when she won the part as Miss Moneypenny in James Bond films, starting with "GoldenEye" in 1995 and ending with "Die Another Day" in 2002.

Gary Kemp is best known as the bassist and songwriter of legendary pop act Spandau Ballet but has since appeared on the stage many times including roles in Art and Pignight.

He also portrayed Ronnie Kray in the film The Krays with brother Martin Kemp and also starred in the Tarantino production Killing Zoe.

The pair are coming together to star in The Rubinstein Kiss at the Hampstead Theatre, a play inspired by the story of Ethel and Julius Rosenburg - the only US citizens to have received the death penalty for conspiracy to commit espionage - reports ITV News.
