Little Britain`s David Walliams campaigns for Bond henchman role

27-Nov-2005 • Casino Royale

David Walliams has a Bond ambition - to play a pervy hitman in the next film in the 007 series - reports The Sun.

The cross-dressing Little Britain star has set his sights on appearing alongside hunky Daniel Craig in the upcoming movie 'Casino Royale'.

Walliams said: "[David Arnold] who does our music on 'Little Britain' does the Bond films and I keep trying to beg him, 'Surely you can get me in somewhere?'

"I love James Bond."

But the star's wacky idea for the next big Bond villain may not win him a role in the film.

The comedian said: "I could play a slightly pervy hitman who liked to cause James Bond some pain but ultimately he can't really do much because he has a sore hand."
