Ultimate Edition James Bond DVD collection scheduled for September 2006 release

In brief DVD news, the Ultimate Edition James Bond DVD collection is scheduled for release in September 2006 - according to DVDrama (French language).

The long-awaited series will replace the four-times released "Special Edition" collection that was first launched in 2000.

As MI6 reported back in September 2004, the series was originally planned to be released in November 2005 - to tie in with Casino Royale. Following MGM's decision to can that release date and shift the 21st James Bond film a year later to November 2006, the DVDs were also shunted back to a release in Q3 2006 in the run up to the movie opening in theatres.
