Bond veteran stunt man B-J Worth breaks new world record

07-Apr-2006 • Bond News

It may seem like an impossible task, trying to get 400 people doing exactly the same thing, at exactly the same time - reports KRTV.

Now, imagine trying to get them to do it while falling through the air from 25-thousand feet, at 200 miles per hour.

That was the task facing B-J Worth, a stuntman who has coordinated parachute stunts in several James Bond films. Worth organized a recent world record-breaking skydive in Thailand.

Once they left the plane, they had 83 seconds to gather 400 hundred people in the air.

They call themselves The World Team, made up of people from every continent.

The jump in February was part of a celebration for the King of Thailand.

On their ninth attempt, Worth and the World Team nailed the 400-person formation, setting a new world record for a freefall skydiving formation.
