Brosnan places 2nd in world`s smoothest man poll

Brosnan, who has just comleted filming his fourth 007 film, Die Another Day, was runner-up in the "world`s smoothest man" poll run by drinks firm Sunjuice, with 27% of the vote.

The survey to find the smoothest celebrity shows women rank men who are well-presented, well-mannered and well-spoken.

Rhian Llewellyn of Sunjuice, which makes a range of smoothie drinks, said: "We were quite surprised by the results of the survey as we all thought a James Bond actor would be the number one smoothie - although it comes as no real surprise that Prince William was voted number one as he is a very popular choice with the ladies. A true English gentleman."

The royal favourite topped a poll to find out who British women think to be the slickest operator, and pulled in more than half the votes (51%).

Others in the poll included former James Bond Roger Moore on 3%.
