Odd Job`s bowler hat to be auctioned off with Lotus Esprit

11-May-2006 • Collecting

The death-dealing hat worn by iconic James Bond villain Odd Job is being auctioned off. The bowler hat, made famous by actor Harold Sakata in Goldfinger, is being tipped to fetch as much as $35,000 when it is put up for sale next month - reports StarPulse.

It is believed Bond fanatics will desperately try to out bid each other for the hat - which in the film contained a razor in the rim which Odd Job used to try and kill 007. The hat is part of a host of Bond movie items to be sold at the forthcoming Julien's Auctions summer sale at New York's Planet Hollywood restaurant on June 17.

Bond's famous white Lotus Esprit, which turned into a submarine in For Your Eyes Only, will also go under the hammer. Fans of the franchise can also bid online for items in a live online auction taking place on the same day.
