Daniel Craig put on fitness regime, claims press

According to the Daily Mirror (UK), James Bond star Daniel Craig has been put on a strict diet after piling on the pounds during filming.

The actor, 38, has been ordered in to the gym after gorging on hearty soups served with belly-busting dumplings on the set of Casino Royale in Prague.

When Bond producer Barbara Broccoli spotted him looking a bit tubby she called in a personal trainer to get him back in top shape. A source said: "The producers were worried when he appeared to have gone soft around the edges. They got a fitness expert to whip him into shape."
