Charlie Higson reveals Young Bond book 5 details
Young Bond author Charlie Higson has revealed some details on the plot of the fifth book in the series.
The fifth book is planned to be the last in the series and will be set in summer 1934. The Royal Family will play a role on the book as Eton is based near Windsow.
On the question of whether Higson's character of Young Bond will join the secret service, the author wrote in
his recent Q&A:
"Wait and see. All will be revealed in book 5. I have been planting some seeds, but nobody will really put it all together until the last book is published. Certainly James wonât be going to work for MI6 in my books--donât worry, he wonât become a dreaded teenage spy--and M wonât appear. But we have already seen through the character of Uncle Max that there is a history of spying in Bondâs family. Maybe someoneâs been keeping an eye on him? Events in book five will mean that the secret service gets involved..."
