Rumours indicate Jinx spin-off movie might be back on

Rumours are circulating that the ill-fated Jinx spin-off movie, that would see Halle Berry reprise her character from the 2002 James Bond film "Die Another Day", may be back on.

MovieHole reports: So, this one time at Bond Campâ¦I hear now, via some glass-to-the-doorâers at Sony, that Halle Berry may be back in talks to do âJinxâ, her proposed âDie Another Dayâ spin-off, that we all assumed was as dead as a worm near a welcome mat. Ironic. It was initially foiled by other female spy projects in the works, like the female XXX, âDaisy Scarlettâ, âAeon Fluxâ and a Catherine Zeta spy flick (that isnât happening). âJinxâ will be exactly as its name suggests. Youâre launching a new Bond and a new take (apparently), leaving behind a great Bond who had more in him, yet youâre wanting to go back to that great Bondâs last not-so-good outing and take a not so good character and put her in her own series of films? What in âCatwoman 2â are you thinking! Youâre a good, Oscar winning actress!

MGM officially pulled the plug on the Jinx project on 27th October 2003.
