Sean Connery rumoured to be up for Bond 21 directors role

16-Dec-2002 • Casino Royale

James Bond original Sean Connery is the next rumoured name to be up for the job to direct the next film - the 21st of the series.

Sir Sean was meant to have directed his unofficial comeback Bond film Never Say Never Again in which he starred in 1983.

We can reveal that Sir Sean preferred the opportunity of directing.

With an alleged £15m fee on offer it would rival Connery`s highest ever pay day to date - the $20m he received for Entrapment.

Thanks to Odd Job for the intel.
