Sarah Michelle Gellar wants to be the next Bond, female Bond

The rumour mill for Bond 21 seems to be in full swing already. From the sublime to the rediculous, in one day.

Halle Berry may be forced aside in the scramble for the next major female role to shake and stir 007`s world.

Sarah Michelle Gellar lightheartedly revealed that she wants the 007 role once current incumbent Pierce Brosnan gives up the famous part.

The newlywed says, "I want to see more women action stars. I don`t see why James Bond has to be a man all the time.

"When Pierce Brosnan retires I`m going to be the next Bond."
