Tina Turner rumour shot down by her fan club

A recent rumour that Tina Turner was recording a song for the forthcoming James Bond film Casino Royale has been shot down by members of her fan club.

Despite a European magazine publishing what they claim was an interview with the singer, in which she was "quoted" as saying she was recording a new Bond song, the fan club has issued a denial of the story.

Apparently, Turner has not been working recently and the last time she performed in a recording studio was in Zurich last year.

Furthermore, her only interview of late was with Anthony DeCurtis for Rolling Stone's 1000th issue.
