Packaging revealed for USA Region 1 `Ultimate Edition James Bond` DVD boxsets?

The Region 2 release of the Ultimate Edition James Bond DVDs is only a few days away - July 17th... But today, interesting news broke of the US release.

As MI6 exclusively revealed last month, the US & Canada Region 1 release is scheduled for the end of the year, to coincide with the latest film "Casino Royale" opening in theatres.

DavisDVD today published what is reported as a sneak peak at two boxsets for the Region 1 release. The "gold" and "red" boxsets hint at a similar marketing scheme to the previous Special Editions - films will be grouped together in smaller boxsets for retail.

The sneak peak picture shows 5 rows of pictures from the same films, indicating that there will be five movies per box, totalling four boxsets for the total release.

Based on the preview image, the "gold" set will contain "Goldfinger", "The World Is Not Enough", "The Man With The Golden Gun" and two other films. The "red" set will include "Thunderball", "Die Another Day", "A View To A Kill", "License To Kill" and one other film.
