`An evening with John Barry` event left fans asking where was John Barry?

30-Sep-2006 • Event

On September 28th, 3A Entertainment presented "An Evening With John Barry" at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Having starred at two previous sell out concerts in recent years, John Barry looked set, again, to wow his fans with a great evening of film music.

The concert was also promoting his new album with the Ten Tenors, who were billed on the posters as guest artistes.

However, fans claimed they had been mis-sold tickets when John Barry appeared only to conduct two numbers, and say a few brief words. Another conductor helmed the rest of the evening.

Had it been 'An Evening Of John Barry Music' or even 'John Barry Presents' tempers might not have been so frayed ... 3A Entertainment were not answering telephones when called to comment.

Thanks to `disgruntled attendee` for the alert.
