First tabloid rumour on Bond 22 plotline emerges
The first tabloid rumour about the plotline to the 22nd James Bond film was published in
The Sun (UK) today. Let the mayhem commence...
MEDIA RUMOUR
"Daniel Craig’s next Bond outing will be based on the Ian Fleming short story Risico, The Sun can reveal.
Writers are tweaking the plot so it acts as a direct sequel to current smash Casino Royale.
It will see 007 dispatched to Rome to infiltrate a drug ring flooding Britain with heroin. Bond’s enemy in the book is called Columbo.
A source said: “Bosses were so pleased with how well Casino Royale has been received that work has already commenced on Risico at Pinewood Studios. Some of the same characters will crop up again. But one of the main aspects will be to develop Bond’s complex personality.”
Casino Royale director Martin Campbell is due to take the reins again."
