Bond 22 may be shot in London after all, hints Barbara Broccoli
The next James Bond movie may be made in London after all, despite claims it is too expensive to film in the British capital.
The 007 movies have been shot at
Pinewood Studios, just outside London, for more than 40 years. But Bond bosses Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli recently threatened to pull out of Britain, because of rising costs.
Wilson said, "London is the most expensive city in the world right now. To bring talent here and put them up for long periods of time and the cost of doing business here is a factor."
But Broccoli has mellowed, and is keen to keep 007 in London - with Daniel Criag starring again following his critically acclaimed performance in Casino Royale.
She says, "We'd like to do another two or three with Daniel and we'd like to film the next one in London."
