Casino Royale still #1 at the Uk box-office

New 007 Daniel Craig worked his charm on UK filmgoers once again at the weekend, holding onto the top spot at the box office for a second consecutive week - reports The Guardian

Superspy outing Casino Royale raked in £8.5m, more than the total taken by all the other films in the top 10 put together, and took its UK gross to a not-to-be-sniffed-at £27.9m.

Trailing far behind was Borat, which held on to the No 2 spot with just under £1.5m. Still, the zany Kazakh's alter ego Sacha Baron Cohen will be pleased that the film has already earned £21.2m in its four weeks on release.
