TWINE boat chase voted in `Top 10 British Movie Moments` poll

Michael Caine shouting “You’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off” in the ‘Italian Job’ has been voted the greatest British movie moment of all time.

In a new poll, food firm Pork Farms asked 1000 people what they felt the greatest British movie moment was and the ‘Italian Job’ featured twice in the top ten.

The full top ten looked like this:

1. “You’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!” — The Italian Job
2. Dancing in the dole queue — The Full Monty
3. Turin car chase — The Italian Job
4. Dance finale — Billy Elliot
5. The Black Knight — Monty Python and the Holy Grail
6. The two rows of soldiers and piled dead bodies — Zulu
7. Big pants — Bridget Jones’s Diary
8. Thames boat chase — James Bond: The World Is Not Enough
9. Hugh Grant as the PM dancing in Number Ten — Love Actually
10. Rhys Ifans in his grey undies — Notting Hill
