MGM push for Madonna nomination at the 2003 Oscars

MGM have published full-page adverts in movie trade magazines to promote Madonna`s theme song for "Die Another Day". The aim of the advert is to earn a nomination for Madonna in the "Best Original Song" category at this year`s Oscar awards ceremony.

So far it is the only full page advert taken out by any movie for the "Best Original Song" category. MGM placed a similar advert in the run-up to the Golden Globe awards and earned a nomination.
