New `Casino Royale` Bond girl dress is best seller for designer
Jenny Packham is the fashion designer du jour after creating one of the most popular dresses ever featured in a James Bond film - reports
MPD.
The coral silk, cowel necked sheath dress featuring in Casino Royale at the moment has fast become her most bestselling style. It was designed with real women in mind and therefore features a flattering bias cut and straps which pull in all the right places.
She says she has been inundated with fans around the world inquiring about the dress, which was worn by Bond girl Caterina Murino in the film.
Ms Packham said: "There seems to be a bit of a global obsession with the dress as women from Los Angeles to Japan are contacting our headquarters to try and get hold of it.
"Just like every man wants to be James Bond, clearly every woman wants to be a Bond girl!"
This isn't the first Bond girl who has donned a Jenny Packham design because she also created the Swarovski diamond covered, blue dress as seen in 2002's Die Another Day.
Ms Packham says she enjoys designing for the screen beauties because they tend to be sexy but also strong women, which is a "nice combination".
