Electronic Arts boast record profits thanks in part to James Bond in NightFire
Video games software house Electronic Arts (better known as `EA`) have reported record breaking financial results for the fourth quarter of 2002.
Net revenues reached $1.23 billion, an increase of 48% year-on-year.
The latest James Bond game "NightFire" was responsible for a significant proportion of the takings. The game launched on more platforms than ever before for a modern 007 game: PC, PS2, GameCube and XBox.
To date, "NightFire" has sold more than one million copies in Europe alone. With the GBA version is due out in March 2003, the future looks rosey for more Bond games from EA.
