Aston Martin enjoys long order queue, thanks in part to 007

British supercar company Aston Martin is flavour of the month with millions of cinema fans queuing up to see the cars and thousands queuing to buy them. Daniel Craig is driving one in Casino Royale and Aston says that its order books are now bulging for the new V8 Vantage Roadster.

The sexy newcomer will be arriving at UK showrooms just in time for summer - reports icLiverpool.

Dealers in the UK have already taken as many as 50 orders each, with deposits of £3,000 a time, creating an order book that currently stretches into 2008.

When the car takes to the roads in June it will have an official list price of £90,000 but within days of it going on sale examples are expected to be offered privately at way in excess of £100,000 and possibly significantly more.
