Hooke Productions reveal details about their work on the Die Another Day DVD

Hooke Productions have been given the task of editing supplemental video and value-added material for the "Die Another Day" DVD.

The extra features include interviews with the principal cast. According to Hooke Productions, one of the most challenging aspects of the job was creating video effects that featured simultaneous views of a sequence from the movie. This involved a significant number of layers that would have traditionally took hours upon hours to render.

The post house recently purchased a $40,000 system specifically for compositing the layers of video. William Hooke, Owner of Hooke Productions, said "The demand among DVD producers and their audiences is for DVD titles that have interesting and interactive video features. This includes multi-angle features and shot-to-storyboard comparisons".

The "Die Another Day" 2-disc DVD is due out in the UK on 19th May 2003.
