Casino Royale tops UK cinema goers poll of 2006
Whichever movie comes out on top at this Sunday's Oscars, Casino Royale has already won best film for UK viewers, according to research.
The new James Bond flick topped a recent nationwide survey carried out by Tickbox, while the Da Vinci Code came a close second - reports

But the Da Vinci Code scooped more votes overall from viewers around the globe, making it the world's top choice for best film.
More than 80% of the people taking part in the online poll voted for the Da Vinci Code, said Royal Philips Electronics, who commissioned the survey.
The Hollywood blockbuster beat Casino Royale, The Devil Wears Prada and Oscar contender Babel to the top spot.
The action thriller, starring Oscar-winning Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou, was based on Dan Brown's best selling novel about Christ's bloodline.
More than 1,000 people around the world took part in the survey.
