Omega watches from Casino Royale & Tomorrow Never Dies production up for auction

Antiquorum will be auctioning two Omega watches worn by Daniel Craig whilst filming the latest James Bond film "Casino Royale" and another worn by Pierce Brosnan during the production of "Tomorrow Never Dies" in 1999.

The "Omegamania" acution will take place on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th April 2007 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel du Rhone in Geneva, Switzerland.

The lots are as follows:

Lot 298 - THE âTOMORROWNEVER DIESâ SEAMASTER - ACTUALWATCH WORN BY PIERCE BROSNAN DURING THE FILMING

Omega, âSeamaster Professional, Chronometer, 300m/1000ftâ, No. 60160667, Ref. SU 368.1503. Worn by Pierce Brosnan during the filming of âTomorrow Never Diesâ in 1996/97. Very fine, rare, and important tonneau-shaped, self-winding, water-resistant, center seconds, stainless steel diver`s wristwatch with date, helium escape valve, blue bezel graduated for the decompression times, and a stainless steel Omega brick-link bracelet with deployant clasp. The case back is engraved: âWorn by James Bond â 1997 â Tomorrow Never Diesâ. This watch is sold with a box, Certificate of Authenticity, and a 2-year Omega guarantee.

Very fine, rare, and important tonneau-shaped, self-winding, water-resistant, center seconds, stainless steel diver`s wristwatch with date, helium escape valve, blue bezel graduated for the decompression times, and a stainless steel Omega brick-link bracelet with deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original box and Certificate of Authenticity.

Lot 300 - THE âCASINO ROYALE PLANET OCEANâ - ACTUALWATCH WORN BY DANIEL CRAIG DURING THE FILMING

Omega, âSeamaster Professional, Co-Axial, Chronometer, 600m/2000ftâ, âPlanet Oceanâ, No. 81084716, Ref. SU 168.1650. Worn by Daniel Craig during the filming of âCasino Royaleâ in 2005/2006. Very fine, rare, and important, tonneau-shaped, self-winding, water-resistant, center seconds, stainless steel diver`s wristwatch with date, revolving black bezel for the decompression times, and rubber strap with a stainless steel Omega buckle. This watch is sold with the original box, Certificate of Authenticity, and 3-year Omega guarantee.
The present watch remains in the condition it was in at the end of âCasino Royaleâ, during which actor Daniel Craig insisted on doing all his own stunts. Despite its heavy âpatinaâ, Omega is proud to extend a 3-year guarantee for this watch, although it has not been serviced or refurbished, for obvious reasons.
