No Oscar nominations for Die Another Day at the 75th Academy Awards

"Die Another Day" has failed to win a single Oscar nomination in any category of the 75th Academy Awards.

Madonna was nominated for "Best Song Original Song" at the recent Golden Globe Awards, but was muscled out of the Oscars by "Chicago", "8 Mile", "Frida", "Gangs Of New York" and "The Wild Thornberrys Movie".

Pierce Brosnan, although widely tipped for a nomination in the "Best Actor" category for his performance in "Evelyn", also missed out.

"Die Another Day" will however be represented by Halle Berry who will be presenting an award at the ceremony on Sunday 23rd March 2003.
