Sir Sean Connery in `good form` says spokesman after health rumours

05-Apr-2007 • Actor News

A spokesman for film star Sean Connery has reacted to reports over health fears for the 76-year old saying that the original James Bond had undergone medical tests but was "in good form". A spokesman for Connery told the newspaper the Scotsman, Wednesday, that he missed a fashion event in New York on Monday due a "scheduling clash" - reports Journalo.

"He had a scheduling conflict unrelated to a routine check-up he underwent earlier this week," said the spokesman, adding that the actor was "in good form".

Concern had been raised after Connery failed to attend a fashion event the "Dressed to Kilt" show in New York where he was to have been the guest of honour.

The event is part of Tartan Week, New York's annual celebration of Scottish culture.
