Bond girl Rosamund Pike heading back to the West End

18-Apr-2007 • Actor News

Surely any leading man would want to appear opposite the gorgeous Rosamund Pike?

The Buzz (The London Paper, Tuesday 17th April 2007) has learnt that the former Bond Girl is set to tread the boards of the West End again in Kevin Spacey's newest production, Gaslight, but the production team are struggling to find an actor to play opposite Rosamund... As well as Pike, Spacey has recruited Brit actor Kenneth Cranham to play a detective in the piece. However, the production has hit upon problems as to who to cast as her husband in the thriller, which tells the tale of a young woman, Bella, who thinks she is losing her sanity.

Insiders suggest this could be down to the fact that Pike is reputed to have exacting standards as leading lady.

"Rosamund has signed on the dotted line, so a desperate search has begun to complete the casting."
