`A James Bond Cabaret` evening in New York, Friday night

"Nobody Does It Better--Songs of 007 (A James Bond Cabaret)," will be presented on Friday, April 27th at 11 PM. The cabaret will star "American Idol" contestant Douglas Cochrane, with electric bass by Barry Wiesenfeld and piano, electric keyboard and musical direction by Sheldon Forrest - reports Broadway World.

The evening will feature "40 years worth of James Bond movie themes from 21 films, from 1962-2006, plus sound and lighting effects, witty patter and jokes, props and gadgets, charm and charisma, and dry vodka martinis, shaken, not stirred."

The show is a reprise of the performer's successful revue from last November, with the addition of the theme from Casino Royale and a bass player.

Admission is $15, plus 2-drink minimum. Admission is $12 for MAC, Cabaret Hotline, friends of Cast Party and/or After Party. Don't Tell Mama is located at W. 46th St. between 8th and 9th Avenues.
