Pierce Brosnan has reportedly offered Bill Clinton a cameo role in the next Bond film - again

24-Feb-2003 • Casino Royale

Pierce Brosnan has reportedly offered the former US president Bill Clinton a cameo role in Bond 21.

The story may seem familiar to those who followed the "Die Another Day" pre-production rumour mill - as the same reports were made back in January 2001.

According to Sky News, Brosnan is said to have approached the former US President at a Hollywood event and asked him if he would like a cameo in the movie.

Clinton told Brosnan to arrange a meeting with his agent and see if a part and suitable pay cheque could be worked out, reports say.

A source told the Daily Star: "Pierce enjoys politics and Bill loves Hollywood.

"So this would be a great way for them to work together and teacher each other a tricks."

They also report that filming is due to begin in January 2004. Sources who proved reliable through the production of "Die Another Day" have told MI6 shooting may start in January 2005 - a year later than the press reports.
