Record producer Mark Ronson wants Bond 22 theme song for Winehouse

02-Jul-2007 • Quantum Of Solace

Record producer Mark Ronson spoke exclusively to Xfm and revealed he'd love to produce the Amy Winehouse's rumoured James Bond theme song, a Mighty Boosh album and work with The Charlatans.

Ronson may be at the top of his game right now, producing leading UK artists Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, touring with his band playing all the best festivals, DJing the top clubs and running his own label - Allido Records.

But, as Ronson revealed to Xfm in an exclusive interview, there's still one ambition he has yet to fulfill, to contribute to a James Bond film.

"It's my dream to produce a song for a James Bond film so I told Amy [Winehouse] that if she gets offered the Bond thing [as has been recently rumoured] then she'd better let me produce the song, or I'll never talk to her again."
