Bond Music show at The Pavilion in Woodlands, Texas on 30th August

The Woodlands, TX – On Aug. 30, Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski directs the Houston Symphony in a “top secret” event titled James Bond: License to Thrill at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The evening is filled with music from classic Bond films such as “Goldfinger,” “You Only Live Twice” and “Diamonds are Forever.” Other music includes theme songs from “Batman,” “Spider-Man,” “Superman” and “Inspector Clouseau.” The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and features FREE lawn seating. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

James Bond: License to Thrill is the first of three performances presented by KRIV FOX26 and KTXH My20 this fall at The Pavilion. The networks are also sponsoring Houston Ballet’s “Carnival of Dance” Oct. 5 and the 13th Annual Children’s Festival Nov. 10 and 11.

Krajewski is a favorite of audiences at The Pavilion and across the country. The much-sought- after pops conductor is known for his imaginative and entertaining programs. With his enthusiasm and delightful sense of humor, the evening promises to be full of laughter, suspense and plenty of great music.

Come early and enjoy numerous pre-concert activities FREE for anyone attending the evening’s performance. Starting at 6:30 p.m., activities include:

• Magic bookmark-making
• Design-your-own disguise with Woodlands Online
• Meet Batman, Spider-Man and other superheroes up close
• First 500 children in the gate receive a free magnifying
glass
• Meet and Greet with Eric Ladau, on-air personality with KUHF 88.7 FM
• Parents can register to win great prizes from Macy’s, Mosquito Nix and Tommy Bahama’s.

Lawn seating for this performance is FREE, sponsored by KPMG LLP and Woodforest National Bank. Free lawn chairs also are available for this and other applicable performing arts events this season. Bring the entire family and have a picnic on the hill. Picnics are welcome; keep in mind that beverages cannot be brought into The Pavilion. This performance is also sponsored in part by KUHF 88.7 FM.

Although lawn seating is free, tickets or vouchers are required for admission and are available at the following locations: The Pavilion Ticket Office, the Community Associations of The Woodlands, select Chick-fil-A, H-E-B and Woodforest National Bank locations, Montgomery County libraries, The Woodlands Recreation Center and other locations in The Woodlands and surrounding area. Reserved seating tickets are $15 for covered reserved and $10 for uncovered reserved. Tickets can be purchased at The Pavilion Ticket Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on event days through intermission. The Ticket Office is located at the north entrance to The Pavilion at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands. Tickets also are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at ticketmaster.com.

Preferred parking is available in the on-site Town Center Garage located along Six Pines Drive. Parking is $5 per vehicle for this and most performing arts events. Tickets for on-site parking can be purchased in advance at all Ticketmaster locations, at the ticketmaster Web site and The Pavilion Ticket Office. Guests also can park in any of the five free parking lots on the southwest side of The Pavilion. The free, color-coded lots are connected to The Pavilion by corresponding pathways with signs leading across The Woodlands Waterway. Visit the event website for further details.
