Bond Girl Rumour #4 - Case closed, Carice van Houten shoots down rumours

No sooner had writer Paul Haggis shot down any rumours that Carice van Houten would be playing a part in the 22nd James Bond film ("she's great, isn't she – but she's not going to be in this one"), the Dutch actress has spoken local media to confirm.

The rumour started back in April when word spread from the production of "Dorothy Mills" (where van Houten plays the lead role) that she was being tapped for a Bond Girl role in Daniel Craig's second outing as 007.

Carice told Volkskrant Magazine that she knows nothing about a role and has not even been contacted. She also mentioned that when the rumours spread the idea was appealing, but she would have to hit the gym to get in shape.



She will be seen next playing opposite Tom Cruise in the controversial WWII movie Valkyrie.
