Last minute change of director for Brosnan`s next film `Laws Of Attraction`
Pierce Brosnan`s current film project "Laws Of Attraction" has seen a last minute change of director during pre-production.
Director Michael Caton-Jones dropped out of the project last week, which the June 16th start date in jeopardy. Creative differences were cited as the reason for Caton-Jones` departure. Brosnan was recently reported to be behind shifting the movie from Los Angeles USA to Dublin, Ireland.
Co-financiers Intermedia and Stratus Films and producers Irish Dreamtime (Brosnan co-produces with Beau St. Clair) are racing to complete a deal for Peter Howitt to take over the vacant directors chair.
While his representatives made his deal, Howitt was booking passage to Ireland to get started.
Scripted by Aline Brosh McKenna and Karey Kirkpatrick, the comedy concerns a couple of divorce lawyers who marry and find themselves in the same boat as their clients as they ponder divorce.
According MI6 insiders, "Laws Of Attraction" - which co-stars Julianne Moore opposite Brosnan - is expected to wrap a couple of months before Bond 21 filming begins in early 2004.
