Another Brosnan film project announced - `After The Sunset` - what Thomas Crown Affair fans have been waiting for?

27-Mar-2003 • Bond News

Yahoo News have reported on another future Pierce Brosnan film project - "After the Sunset" - where he will once again try his luck as a thief. The film is basically a sequel to "The Thomas Crown Affair" in all but name.

Brosnan is attached to star in the film, which was penned by Paul Zbyszewski and is being produced by Firm Films. "Sunset" begins where most heist movies end, with a master thief (Brosnan) sailing off to an island paradise after his last big score. However, when his lifelong nemesis, an FBI agent, shows up to make sure the thief is really retired, a new cat-and-mouse game of friendship, suspicion and thievery begins.

Firm Films` Beau Flynn is producing "Sunset," and Tripp Vinson is executive producing. Chris Pollack is associate producing. New Line execs Kent Alterman and Keith Goldberg are overseeing for the studio.

Best known for his portrayal of Bond in the past four installments of the franchise, Brosnan also has appeared in such films as "Evelyn," "The Tailor of Panama" and "The Thomas Crown Affair." He is attached to star in the upcoming indie feature "Laws of Attraction."
