Casting process for next Bond Girl reaches final group, Juliana Paes and Cléo Pires favourites
According to the latest press reports in Brazil, the casting process for the next Bond girl is reaching its climax.
Reports state that, since the end of last year, casting agents Kate Dowd and Carla Hool have performed tests in Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela and Argentina.
A representative from the local casting agency that had assisted in the search - Nossa Senhora do Casting - said that they are "betting all the chips" on either
Juliana Paes or
Cléo Pires landing the role opposite Daniel Craig in the 22nd James Bond film.

Some 40 models and actresses have reportedly tested for a role, but the field of candidates has now been cut down to just a handful. Joining Paes and Pires in the final line-up are
Rita Guedes, Guilhermina Guinle, Mexican model Luz Helena Gonzáles and Polish-born actress
Ludwika Paleta (who moved to Mexico as a child).
The next - and possibly final - step for the few remaining hopefuls is a screentest opposite
Daniel Craig, who is understood to be in London and Pinewood for the casting.
