Bond 22 production team back in Austria for more location scouting
As MI6 first reported, the production crew of the upcoming Bond 22 movie have considered Austria as a shooting location. Local news confirms today that location scouts are back in Austria to firm up plans for the
22nd James Bond film.
Yesterday evening, location scouts went from Friedrichshafen airport directly to the Old Town of Feldkirch in the Voralberg region. Press reports that the production team ignored the Christmas market that had just been put in place for the holidays, instead focussing on the historic buildings and arcades.
The last time the
crew was in the region was back in September.
Today, members of the production team were in the nearby town of Bregenz to finalise negotiations.
Agreements to
film the floating opera stage that currently hosts "Tosca" are ongoing.

Although nothing has been finalized yet, CEO Gerhard Stübe was confident, stating that dates were being negotiated. As the opera is only performed in summer months, a special performance would have to take place in the spring to accommodate the James Bond 22 shooting schedule.
