Sir Roger Moore calls on Arts Council to save Exeter theatre

Former James Bond Sir Roger Moore, along with stars of stage and screen Richard Briers, Celia Imrie and Floella Benjamin, have called for the Arts Council to rethink its decision to cuts its £547,000 a year funding to the Exeter Northcott - reports

Without the cash the theatre looks set to close, leaving the city and much of Devon without a professional theatre - and 58 people out of work.
