Bond girl Britt Ekland talks candidly about Peter Sellers

On BBC One's "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross", legendary Bond girl beauty Britt Ekland said Peter Sellers should have been sedated.

"Today he would be called a manic depressive, put on lithium and have a good life.

"I didn't know what to do in those days [but] things were gentle then. The media was very much on our side, they knew what was happening but they didn't write about it, that doesn't exist any more."

And she says she was chatted up by Michael Caine and Peter Sellers on the same day: "Peter Sellers asked me out for a drink. Earlier the same day Michael Caine asked me to have dinner with him, but he never called, so..."
